Armed Forces fighters have intensified the use of drones to dump anti-tank mines TM-62

UAVs have modern navigation systems and targets. Therefore, this method allows you to accurately place mines in strategically important places, which significantly increases their efficiency. Ukrainian fighters became more actively used by drones, using them to dump TM-62 anti-tank mines. This was reported on July 16 by Army Recognition Operators, citing a photo on social networks.

The use of quadcopal drones to install mines allows Ukrainian soldiers to minimize risks by managing drone from a safe distance. This innovative approach increases the accuracy of the installation of mines, making their location more strategically advantageous. Thanks to modern navigation systems and targets, drones can accurately deliver mines to the right points, effectively disrupting the movement of Russian armored vehicles and supply lines.

Therefore, this decision, experts write, emphasizes the technological adaptability of the Ukrainian military in the desire to resist the Russian offensive. The TM-62 mine is a powerful explosive device designed to disable or destroy armored machines. It has a round shape, a diameter of about 320 mm, a height of about 90 mm and weighs about 10 kilograms. Inside contains from 7 to 9. 5 kilograms of explosive substance, which makes it especially effective against tanks and other heavy equipment.

Different types of detonators, such as pressure and inclination detonators, make it possible to work mini when the weight or movement of the vehicle is detected. Traditionally, TM-62 mines are buried or masked on the battlefield, but the Ukrainian armed forces have adapted this tactic using drones-quadcopters to dump mines. This method allows you to accurately place mines in strategically important places, which significantly increases their efficiency.

In addition, the use of drones reduces the risk to personnel and allow Ukrainian troops to quickly adapt to changing conditions on the battlefield. "The expanded use of the Ukrainian armed forces for the installation of anti-tank mines TM-62 is a significant step forward in the modern tactics of fighting," the observers summed up.
