The newly created 22 brigade was armed with T-72 tanks unknown modernization (video)

The Urals is the basic version of the T-72. They were stored in Ukraine, and are now being restored with a number of improvements. The 22st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces received the tanks of the T-72 "Ural". However, they are upgraded by the previously unknown program. The video was posted by the 22 OMB press service on Facebook. During the tanks, the T-72AMT was lit in the video in the mobilization version and the Urals.

The Urals is the original version of the T-72, without any revision. However, as "militaristic" notes, modernized machines were handed over to the military. It is known that before the start of the full-scale invasion of the T-72 "Urals" in Ukraine were extremely rare and were in an incapacitated state on stored armored vehicles. As it became known, they are modernized and restored for the Armed Forces.

Uralized T-72 "Urals" of the 1973 sample received several significant improvements: dynamic contact "contact-1" on the boards and ahead of the case and towers of the machine. In addition, anticumulative grilles were installed in the feed. Extra elements should provide the tank protection against most cumulative grenades to RPG-7 and PABT PAPC. Because ordinary armor protection in the edition is already called outdated. Inside the machine is also likely changes.

The infrared spotlight "Luna" was removed from the tank, which was illuminated for night vision devices in the sight of the gunner and the commander's surveillance devices. This is a standard procedure when replacing Soviet sights with modern ones. Therefore, probably inside the night sight of the gunner TPN-1-49-23 with a thermal imaging matrix was installed. The Urals also received a modern digital radio station "Libid-K-2B" and the navigation equipment "Basalt".

The only problem that the authors are highlighted is the support rollers on tanks. They are borrowed from the older T-55/T-62, which indicates a shortage of spare parts for T-72 tanks. In the Armed Forces before the start of a full-scale war, the main battle tank was the T-64. We will remind, according to Oryx, even during the offensive of the Armed Forces, the invaders lose more equipment than Ukraine.
