Scale for hundreds of kilometers: can Russians arrange a blockade of Kharkiv - explanation of an expert

According to military expert Mikhail Samus, the Russian aviation can go up to 50 km to the front line and run the cabin or fabrics. But Ukraine's airspace for Russian aircraft is not available. Military expert Mikhail Samus told whether the blockade of Kharkiv by Russian troops with the use of artillery and aviation was possible. This was reported on the air of the telecommunication.

According to him, there are hundreds of kilometers on the map, and the difficulties for Russian aviation are that she has no freedom of action in Ukraine's airspace. "It can fit, for example, 50 km to the front or border line and launch cabins or fabes with modules. And this is just because we do not have enough powerful aviation that could drive them off with its radars and means of dropping them further than 50 km From the border, "Samus explained.

The expert is convinced that Russian planes cannot enter Ukraine's airspace. Russian troops can only organize aircraft with the use of airbags or fabs. There is a fundamental difference between Su-25 and Su-34 with cabins or fabes. The Su-25 Stormboard works directly on the battlefield to support infantry. Stinger highlighted in the new PSRA Help package is a suitable tool for the destruction of the Su-25.

But to combat the Su-34 will already need Patriot and F-16, which would destroy these aircraft at a long distance. Samus said that the troops of the Russian Federation were unable to achieve a breakthrough by May 9, and the window of opportunity was closed.

The expert believes that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can copy the actions of the RDC to create the visibility of a large offensive in the Kharkiv direction and, thus, to force the Armed Forces to delay reserves from other directions. A similar scenario can be in the Sumy region. Recall that, according to the White House, there are "alarming" that Russia is preparing for a large -scale offensive on Kharkiv.
