"The artist has publicly expressed and participated in the support of policy supporting international law and causes wide public resonance. "Kazakhstan has always advocated the development of a culture based on mutual respect, and the invitation of performers whose activity is perceived as politicized, undermines the confidence of citizens in the organizers of cultural measures," they say.

In the final part of the petition, specific requirements are made: "Based on the above, we demand: to cancel the concerts of Pauline Gagarina in Almaty and Astana, to strengthen control over the invitation of foreign artists, whose activities can harm inter -ethnic harmony and public order in Kazakhstan. According to information on the official site of Polina Gagarina, the concert in Astana is still scheduled for November 27, but it is impossible to buy tickets now.
