Andriy Yermak discussed with Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumental's strengthening sanctions against

The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak met with American senators Lindsey Grame and Richard Blumental, who are in Ukraine.

The meeting was also attended by: a temporary attorney in the US affairs in Ukraine Julie Davis, Deputy Head of Presidential Office Pavel Palis and Igor Brusilo, advisor - authorized head of state for sanction policy Vladislav Vlasyuk, adviser to the head of the President Andriy Yermak stressed that Ukraine is counting on continued support from the President of the United States of America Donald Trump, both chambers and parties of Congress and the entire American people.

“We are very grateful for what you have done and continue to do. Ukrainians will always remember your huge help and support. Despite all the circumstances, Ukraine lives and we continue to fight the enemy. Visits like yours are important because you can see it with your own eyes, ”he said. The head of the President's office thanked the senators separately for the bill on strengthening sanctions against Russia.

It is important that the document envisages the introduction of stronger restrictions not only against Russia, but also against any country that finances the military machine of the aggressor state. Andriy Yermak spoke about Ukraine's diplomatic efforts to achieve just and sustainable peace. He stressed that the Ukrainian side has been waiting for the so -called "memorandum" from the Russian Federation for more than two weeks, which should reflect the ceasefire position.

Vladimir Putin personally promised President Trump to send him immediately after their telephone conversation. At the same time, Ukraine has already submitted a document with a list of its proposals. Pavel Palis informed about the operational situation on the battlefield and possible offensive actions of the enemy. Dariya Zarivna told about the efforts to return Ukrainian children who were illegally deported and moved by Russia.

Senators personally were able to communicate with children returned from Russian deportation, to hear their stories of life. Vladislav Vlasyuk emphasized the importance of strengthening sanctions against the energy sector of the Russian Federation and limiting the marginal price for Russian oil. Igor Brusilo urged the US to impose sanctions on companies that produce minerals in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumel emphasized the support of Ukraine and noted the importance of strengthening sanctions against the aggressor state. “Your country is an inspiration for the whole world. You remind us with your example that we need to preserve freedom, ”Lindsey Graham said. “The United States of America will be with you and you must be strong.
