In Belarus signed a document on the placement of nuclear weapons: control remains for the Russian Federation

The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu said that the document does not provide for the transfer of tactical nuclear weapons of Minsk, and the decision on its use remains on the Russian side.

In Minsk 25 a meeting of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergiy Shoig and the Belarusian head of the defense department Viktor Khrenin was signed, during which a document on the placement on the territory of the Republic of Belarus was signed in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. About it reports Belta.

"According to the decision of our Supreme Commander -in -Chief, work on the placement of non -strategic nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation was organized in the territory of the Republic of Belarus," Shoga said after the meeting. It is emphasized that the weapon is not transmitted to the Belarusian side, since control over it, as well as the decision on application remains behind Moscow.

"Russia does not transmit nuclear weapons to the Republic of Belarus: control over it and the decision on application remains on the Russian side," the Russian minister said. Shoigu also added that Moscow intends to take "additional measures to ensure the safety of the Union State" taking into account the military-political situation.

At the same time, the steps already taken, according to the head of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country, allegedly correspond to all international legal obligations. We will remind, the Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov on May 8 on the talk show demanded to cause massive nuclear blows in Ukraine. The calls to use weapons of mass destruction were heard after the incident with drones that exploded over the Kremlin.
