Ukraine and the United States will launch the joint production of air defense systems in the territory of Ukraine, the head of the ministry said. The arrangements were achieved during a recent visit to the United States by President Vladimir Zelensky. "During our visit to the United States, we have not only received another assurance of continuing financial and military support," the minister said. "But also in the readiness to work on the joint production of air defense systems.
" He added that the work in this direction is already underway. The first results should already appear by the end of 2023. More "complex system things" will be produced in the next few years. According to sources of journalists, the joint issue of ammunition is planned, but industrial capacity will be placed in the country with Ukraine. There is also a similar project for the production of spare parts for military helicopters. Recall that the western reserves of weapons are exhausted.
