The Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation has adopted a new submarine of the project 677 "Lada" (photo)

B-586 "Kronstadt" is the latest development of Russian designers in the class of non-atomic submarine. The device belongs to the fourth generation of submarines and is equipped with anti -ship "Alfa" and "Onyx" anti -ship missiles. The Russian Navy has adopted the latest shock submarine of the project 677 "Lada". It is a submarine B-586 "Kronstadt", which was put into effect at a solemn ceremony in St. Petersburg, attributed to the Northern Fleet.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported this on January 31. The submarine was developed by the Rubin CCB in order to create a platform capable of eliminating underwater and excess threats, as well as to protect strategic points, coastal areas and maritime routes. The configuration and characteristics of the submarine also allow him to perform intelligence tasks.

Lada submarines belong to the fourth generation of ordinary (non -atom) submarines and are the most modern and powerful ships that are being built on Russian ships. Russian propagandists claim that the submarine is allegedly innovative, since it has more than 150 unique Russian developments. According to the submarines of the project 877 "Halbus" and the project 636 "Warsaw" of dimensions, the possibilities and characteristics of the submarine "Kronstadt" have increased significantly.
