"When we talk about the victory of Ukraine in this war, the war for freedom and independence, we speak specifically. The victory of Ukraine is a liberation from the Russian occupation of all our territory. We will not leave the enemy of any part," the President began. According to Zelensky, the Armed Forces will be defeated when all Russian military units, mercenaries and militants will leave the Ukrainian territory. The concept of victory includes the return of captured and deported Ukrainians.
"The victory of Ukraine is the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity in its internationally recognized borders without any restrictions on its sovereign rights," the Ukrainian leader continued. Ukrainians need to realize that the path to victory is difficult and now no one can say when we go to the end. There should be national consent to determine the victory of Ukraine, he said. Zelensky added that Ukrainians have to decide what alliances the country will join.
