"Money will go to weapons for Russia": Medvedev explained the nationalization of Carlsberg and called the Danes

The Kremlin is satisfied with the fact that foreign business will bring money for the occupation troops. The Danish Brewery Company Carlsberg called Russia's actions by raiding. Russian nationalization of Carlsberg brewery will help fill the Russian budget and get funds for the production of weapons for war against Ukraine. This was announced on Telegram by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council and former President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

According to him, this procedure is beneficial to the Russian state. He criticized other Western companies that left the Russian Federation. "They thought they would not be touched. We are sanctions, and the Ukrainian regime - weapons, but you will not touch our property or at least give it profitable to sell," Medvedev explained. The Russian authorities noted that such investments will now work for Russia, filling its budget. He called the Danes who managed the business.

"A strong budget is the help of the front," Dmitry Medvedev said. In July, the Russian Federation took control of eight breweries of the Danish group and 8400 of their employees after the consent of the Danish Brewery Carlsberg to sell part of the business to an unnamed buyer. Brewery told that they remain the owners of the Baltic Company, but they are not in fact controlled.

The Carlsberg management defined the actions of the Russian Federation as nationalization and expressed the hope of achieving the sale of business. CEO of Kayes T'har called this case unprecedented. We will remind, on October 25 Medvedev urged the Czech Republic to make concessions through Crimea. According to the former Russian President, if in Europe they want justice, it is necessary to return some territories back to Germany. In particular, he urged the resumption of the Sudeten region.
