Putin did not go to the truce: Kyiv discussed with allies the consequences for the Kremlin

To spread: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed the silence regime from May 12 to 30 days, but the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did not stop the attacks. Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga spoke about a meeting, which discussed possible sanctions after the rejection of peaceful efforts by Russia. This was known from the publication of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga of May 12.

The Ukrainian diplomat thanked the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom David Lemie for inviting an online meeting, which was also attended by allies from Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the EU and France. The key topics of discussion were the peaceful efforts of Ukraine and working with the United States. "We have coordinated the strategies of our steps this week, which will be decisive for peace and accountability," Sibiga said.

He shared with his colleagues from other countries the latest data on the real situation on the forefront, which the day before received from the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky. The minister stressed that Russia has completely ignored the Armistice's proposal since May 12. The invaders continue to attack Ukrainian positions throughout the front line. "Moscow has been tossed another opportunity to put an end to the murders.

This once again demonstrates that Russia is the sole purpose of the continuation of the war. Ukraine, on the contrary, is making every effort to end the war and give a chance of diplomacy," Sibiga stressed. According to him, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has a personal meeting on May 15. However, as the diplomat reported, he has not received answers yet.

"We have discussed the decisive steps that can be taken, including sanctions against the Russian banking, central bank and energy sectors, as well as new defense assistance packages for Ukraine. Putin should understand the consequences of rejecting peaceful efforts and continuation of the war," the Foreign Minister said. He added that "our next steps, contacts and efforts" were coordinated.

" The Minister also expressed gratitude to the countries with whom the meeting was held, for the adamant support of Ukraine and peaceful efforts. We will remind, in the media reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will go to a meeting in Istanbul even if the Kremlin does not agree to a single language-a 30-day ceasefire. Journalists also reported that Germany had warned the Kremlin for new sanctions in case of a truce.
