On May 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he decided to form the so -called "buffer zone" along the border with Ukraine. At a meeting with government officials, he reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had already taken up for this task.
In March, the sources close to the Kremlin informed The Moscow Times, which the management is considering the occupation of new territories of Ukraine, such as Dnipropetrovsk or Sumy regions, for the sake of "exchange" for Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. One of the unnamed interlocutors explained that the direct assault of Kherson was extremely undesirable for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation because of the likely heavy losses.
"We hope to find an option for which you do not have to force the Dnieper and storm Kherson. I hope that it will not work. It will mean thousands of losses for us," the source emphasized. We will remind, on social networks there was a video where Russian invaders show how to punish the fighters for refusing to go to "meat storms". The dangerous attraction was called "Cararousel".
