Parliamentarians are explained by the fact that the Russian mercenaries, funded by Yevgeny Prigogin, are involved in military conflicts, including in Ukraine, Sudan, Syria, Mozambique and the Central African Republic and violate human rights massively.

According to Politico, the MPs of the European Parliament, who represent the entire spectrum of parliamentary groups and factions, wrote a letter to the President of Euro Council Charles Michelle and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Peter Fial, whose country in 2022 heads the Euro Council.

"Referring to the violation of international law in Ukraine by the Wagner Group and their previous" feats "in other conflicts, the MEPs say that the PVC should be included in the list of terrorist organizations," the Politico said.
