More than in 2023 and 2024: Putin announced a spring conscription in 2025 (document)

On March 31, the Kremlin portal appeared on Putin on the spring conscription in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It is stated that 160,000 Russians are planned to be recruited to the Russian army. It is also emphasized that there will be dismissal of soldiers who have expired in the army. Among other things, the order # 175 of the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Andrei Belousov, whose content was interpreted during a briefing, reads in the post at the Telegram-channel. According to Viceadmiral Volodymyr Tsyliansky, the conscription will take place under the following procedure: it is separately indicated that the Ministry of Defense will begin to use a special database for accounting of conscripts.

The summons are sent electronically, as well as by mail, warned by the Russians Tsar. The previous, autumn, conscription to the Russian army took place from September to October 2024. According to the plans of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, they had to recruit 130 thousand Russians.

In the report of the department, voiced in March 2025, named the figure of 133 thousand stitches, which got to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for conscript service and have not yet been completed.
