Probits Chinese air defense: The secret Taiwanese rocket HF-2e first fell in the photo

HSIUNG FENG IIE is called one of those factors that will be used for counter -strike in Chinese territory in the event of a military operation. Its characteristics are known only approximately, the ammunition has a range of up to 1500 km. The Taiwanese Winged Hsiung Feng IIE (HF-2E) has been armed for over 10 years, but it has never been shown in a photo or video. However, the United Daily News newspaper has released an ammunition image.

The Hsiung Feng IIE rocket is called one of the opportunities that Taiwan can use for a counter -strike in China if a military invasion begins. The Taiwanese newspaper took a photo from the military base of Jupen in Pingdun County in the south of the island. The sources of the newspaper reported that the air forces launched a secret rocket in the framework of three -day training with combat shooting.

However, the interlocutor of the Central Information Agency did not confirm that it was about HF-2e. The base is known to be often tested by missiles. It is also a center for the National Institute of Science and Technology of Chongh-Shan, a leading Taiwan military research and testing organization, which is considered to be HF-2E development. There is little about Hsiung Feng Iie. The ground base rocket, the design of which is similar in shape and functions to American Tomahawk.

The HF-2E runs from the launch vehicle at the beginning of the flight. The engine of the ammunition itself is then started, which on all signs is permut. The photos obtained by the UDN show a long cylindrical rocket with a relatively blunt nose, ribs on the tail part and wings put in the back of the body. As far as you know, the development of a winged rocket started in the early 2000s, and mass production began in 2011. The year of arms is unknown.

There are two variants of HF-2E missiles that differ in flight range. The basic option has an approximate radius of 300-600 km, and the improved version is from 1000 to 1500 km. One of the options is that shelter will break. Both missiles use an inertial GPS -based navigation navigation system with an additional Tercom relief scanner. According to some reports, it also has an infrared sight to further increase accuracy.

The publication states that the presence of HF-2E missiles provides a certain degree of restraint of China to military aggression. Strategic levels, as well as critical infrastructure, can have great consequences for the PRC, but Taiwan, too. We will remind, on August 16, the media wrote that the Minister of Defense of China threatened the United States through Taiwan saying that they were "playing with fire".
