The enemy ministry indicated as a condition "appeal to the command of the Armed Forces" and clarified that it is about the possibility of visiting "blocking areas of Ukrainian troops" in the cities of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd and Kupyansk. This is stated in an official statement published on October 30.
"The Russian command is ready, if necessary, to stop hostilities for 5-6 hours in the specified areas, as well as to provide corridors for the unimpeded entry and exit of groups of representatives of foreign media, including Ukrainian ones, under the condition of safety guarantees for both journalists and Russian military personnel," the Russian Ministry of Defense assured.
At the time of publication of the material, the General Staff of the Armed Forces did not respond to the statement from Moscow. It will be recalled that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said that information about the "blocking" of forces in Pokrovsk and Kupyansk is enemy propaganda. He said that more UAV operators were sent to the city to search for the shelter of Russians who managed to infiltrate and accumulate, constantly moving.
In the 7th Rapid Response Corps, the SDF showed how they destroy the occupiers in Pokrovsk. The command emphasized that as of October 30, there is no question of the encirclement of the city, and Russia "wants to make wishful thinking come true. " On October 29, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko also denied a statement from the Kremlin regarding the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kupyansk.
