Not through shelling: Ukraine can return to the schedules of shutdowns in winter - expert (video)

According to the director of the Center for Energy Research Alexander Kharchenko, energy is still able to compensate for the deficit at the expense of European partners, but in the event of a deterioration of the situation it will be necessary to return to the schedules. Electricity shutdown can return to Ukraine this winter even without massive attacks by Russia. All the reason in weather conditions.

This was stated by the director of the Energy Research Center Alexander Kharchenko on the air of Kyiv24 on November 22. According to him, energy was repeatedly warned that under low temperatures, the Ukrainian energy system would face a deficit and this is an objective situation.

"This does not mean that someone will die or will be some Armageddon, but it may well be that if we do not work out the deficit, then there will certainly be the schedules of offs They had the opportunity to receive it, " - said Alexander Kharchenko. So far, Ukraine has been able to compensate for the deficit with the help of European colleagues and their power system. They provide assistance, but if the deficit is much higher, then you will have to take extreme measures.

"There are a lot of calculations, a lot of different scenarios, how events can develop, but I think that at an average daily temperature of about -8, -10 degrees, the average daily, unfortunately, will have to apply graphs. And what Ukrainians need to be ready" , - continued Alexander Kharchenko. We will remind, on November 22 it was reported that in Ukraine recorded a shortage of electricity, so citizens called for saving light.
