Shahd-238 in the hands of the occupiers: what advantage will the Russian Federation be used by using new UAVs

It is likely that new drones are made of material that absorbs radar radiation. Given that the drones are equipped with jet engines, they have become more mobile and difficult to detect. Iranian media published an image of one of the latest military developments of Iran, a Shahd-238 jet-Kamikadze, which is a modernized version of the Shahd-136 drone, used by Russia for blows in Ukraine.

In this regard, Army Recognition reviewers found out what benefits the new apparatus has, and what advantages it can give on the battlefield. First of all, experts noted that Shahd-238 has an option with an infrared/optical guidance system, which is designed to damage the heat contrast objects in the rear of the enemy. There is also an option with a radar head, which can be used to counteract the air defense systems.

"One of the noticeable improvements compared to ShahED-136 is the possibility of autonomous shahd-238 navigation to the target, which increases his operating flexibility compared to manual control," experts write. This, in turn, will increase the range and reduce the need for relaying stations near the target. Drones also have noticeably black fuselages, which can indicate the use of materials that absorb radar radiation, although there is no official confirmation yet, experts say.

The specific specifications of the ShahED-238 are not yet disclosed, but it is expected that its jet engine will provide high speed, but the flight range may be reduced. With regard to the use of new drones, from a military point of view of Russia's deployment on the battlefield in Ukraine a jet-Kamikadze jet can give a number of advantages.

These are the mobile characteristics of drone, in particular, indicators of speed, maneuverability and fuel savings are the most important factors for military drones. Drones also have additional actuators that allow Shahd-238 to perform more accurate and more complex maneuvers. This will increase the accuracy of the impact on quickly moving purposes.

Moreover, an increase in the number of reasons can allow the drone to be more difficult to carry out the load, which potentially improves its combat qualities. We will remind, Ukrainian expert Sergey Bezernov, assessing the potential danger of new "Shahmed", said that the decision to install a jet engine on the drone from a constructive point of view looks questionable.
