Ukraine has broken two more agreements with the Russian Federation: what they were

Ukraine and Russia will no longer be able to use each other in the fields of construction and repair of passenger and cargo aircraft. Ukraine has come out of two intergovernmental agreements with Russia on cooperation in the field of air transport and production of aviation equipment. This was announced on January 31 by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk in his official telegram channel.

"The agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on air communications and cooperation in the field of air transport has been terminated," Melnyk wrote. This document was signed on January 12, 1994. It came into force on March 2, 1995. It consists of 28 articles and additions to them.

In addition, Ukraine has left the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Ukraine on the principles of cooperation in the field of production and supply of aviation equipment. The country was signed on February 8, 1993. The document consists of 13 articles. Now our country will not supply the Russian Federation with metals, electronics, conductors and petroleum products. This also applies to the production and repair of military aircraft.

We will remind, at the end of December 2022 the Russian Federation left the agreement with Ukraine on mutual recognition of diplomas and academic titles. The agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has been in force since May 2000. Prior to this decision, Ukraine terminated an agreement on cooperation in the field of education in the CIS.
