Result up to 100%: The Armed Forces explained what targets will be able to intercept F-16 fighter (video)

The supply of Western fighters, according to a spokesman for the command of PS Yuri Ignat, will increase the percentage of intercepting air goals to the maximum. However, Balism will not be able to beat the F-16. F-16 fighters will help to protect the Ukrainian sky from Russian attacks by rockets and drones. A spokesman for the Air Force Yuri Ignat told this in an interview for RBC-Ukraine.

The F-16 American fighter is capable of increasing the percentage of knocking down Russian air targets to almost 100%. "It can cover the sky from drones-Kamikadze and winged rockets, that is, to bring the percentage of beating up to 100, now we have 70-80%-with strong Russian attacks, with F-16 this figure can increase to maximum,"-explains Ignat. He also added that the aircraft will use cheaper air defense missiles and not spend expensive ammunition on minor purposes.

SPRs should protect the Ukrainian sky from Russian aviation to control the airspace and protect large cities and strategically important objects. In doing so, Ignat added that the F-16 will not be able to knock down ballistic missiles. The training of Ukrainian pilots on Western F-16 fighters should begin soon. For two months, pilots have been waiting for a decision where it will take place.

One of the problems, according to Yuri Ignat, is the capacity of simulators, instructors and training aircraft from partners. In 6 months, you can prepare several fighter squads to complete current tasks. Learning schedules will begin at the end of the summer. Now the Air Force consult with partners to determine where and how much to teach pilots.
