The head of the department Oleg Grigorov informed that the Russians seized two settlements in the Yunakiv community - the village of Noventy and Basivka. Two more settlements have been able to translate the Russians in the Khotin community - the villages of Veselivka and Zhuravka. In addition, the Russian army in Sumy region continues to attempt to advance deep into the region. The fighting is in the area of ​​six settlements.

"The fighting is ongoing on the outskirts of the village of Aquarius and near Vladimirivka, Belovodes, Konstantinovka and Kindrativka of the Khotyn community, as well as on the outskirts of the Lockney of the Young Community," Grigorov said. According to OVA, there are no threats to the civilian population of Sumy region in captured settlements, as people have previously evacuated.

At the same time, the department noted that the Armed Forces gave a repel of the enemy and do not allow him to move further. "The forces of Ukraine's defense and all the components of defense forces keep the situation under control, causing the enemy to accurate fire," Grigorov emphasized.
