Stories of War Veterans: Andrey Burdyaev after fighting in Donetsk joined his native enterprise

The stories of veterans families are not only stories about the courage of those who stood on the forefront, but also about the heroism of their loved ones who remained in the rear, supported, helped and overcome the most difficult trials. Andriy Burdyaev-a volunteer who survived the cold and continuous battles under the Soledar, found support in his native plant, volunteer fellow countrymen and his wife Olga and the staff of her schools.

Each story of veterans is an incredible example of the sustainability and courage of Ukrainians during the war, but it is also an important question - reintegration of veterans into society remains a great challenge. The reintegration of veterans should be not only material but also moral. People need to know their stories, understand why they deserve respect and help.

The veterans gave part for the sake of peace and security of others, and society should accept them with gratitude, not forcing them to adapt to the new reality on their own. This requires the joint work of the state, business and community: creation of support programs, employment, psychological assistance and educational campaigns. As the experience of companies such as Ferrexpo, which support their veterans, such initiatives can change their lives and help people feel needed.

The story of Veteran Burdyaeva: Volunteer who survived hell and returned Olga Kapurina - a physics teacher from school # 3 of Horishni Plavni, shares the difficult moments of war that changed her life and life of her family. When the war broke into her life, Olga felt the cold of fear and uncertainty. Her husband, Andrew, an employee of the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant, immediately decided to become a volunteer.

This choice struck it, but at the same time caused pride and faith through the family. The decision to become volunteer Olga Andriy Burdyaev made a hesitation. Despite the hesitation of his wife who tried to stop him, he firmly decided to stand up for Ukraine. "If I'm not the one, if Fedya or Vasya is not the one, then who is he?" - These words became his internal argument. After passing the sapper, he got into the hottest points of the front: Lisichansk, Soledar, Bigorivka.

On the front, Andrew passed through the hell of battles under Soledar, withstanding constant shelling and cold. Among the constant shelling and grueling days of the trenches of life, Andrew and his brothers were kept through harmony, support of each other and humor. The stories about Vasya's combat cat, who survived the contusion, or a mouse named Petrovich, which was rescued from death, became a ray of light on those gloomy days.

The support of the home enterprise played an important role in Andrew's life during the war. The Poltava Ferrexpo GOC constantly sent the necessary equipment: from warm shoes to quality first aid kits. Andrew remembers how these things caused true admiration for his brothers, because every detail helped to survive in the front. Olga also did not stay away from the struggle.

Her students, colleagues from school and homemade supported the family: they raised funds for the necessary for the front, organized charity fairs, and passed the equipment. Her school became not only a place of work, but also a support that helped to cope with the challenges. Return and rehab: As a veteran Andrey Burdyaev returned to civilian life and the work of Andrew's return after 16 days of continuous attacks became a real miracle that is associated with God's mercy in the family.

Native embrace, joy of colleagues and even a casual meeting with a woman whose husband is still fighting, gave Andrew a sense of peace that was so lacking. Particularly warm were the words of the wife, who along with him passed all the hardships: "You freeze - frozen and I. You didn't sleep - I didn't sleep.

" Andrew's return home was accompanied by complex rehabilitation, but thanks to the support of Ferrexpo, which organized not only medical care but also a family vacation, the man was able to return to work. For Olga, this help is an example of how important it is to provide a reliable rear for those who are fighting.

The history of this family should be heard, because it is a story about the choice to remain loyal to your country, support your relatives and overcome all the fears on the way to victory. Andriy Burdyaev is a person who has been accustomed to overcoming fears and opening new horizons from childhood. Extreme hobbies, such as parachute jumps, prepared it for the trials that the war brought.
