According to the Prime Minister of Britain, to start peace talks, Russia must leave the occupied territories of Ukraine. NATO countries are currently providing new military assistance to Kiev. British Prime Minister Risha Sunak called on world leaders to ignore Moscow's calls for ceasefire in the war in Ukraine. According to him, the Russian Federation should leave the occupied territories. He said this while appealing to the participants of the United UK expedition forces, Sky News reports.

According to him, any calls of this character are meaningless under the current conditions. "It should be clear that any one-sided call of Russia to cease fire is absolutely meaningless in the current context," he said. The British Head of Government also stated that NATO countries should provide more military assistance to Ukraine, including air defense, artillery and armored vehicles.
