The US Department of State Ned Price stated that the Russian Federation does not intend to talk about the diplomatic route of the war, according to the official website of the department.

The State Department Representative noted that in the United States they did not hear anything new from the Russian side. According to him, the Kremlin's statements are significantly different from the position of Ukraine and most countries of the world. "For every occasion, the Russians respond to the call of Ukraine for a fair peace even greater escalation and a very clear recognition that Russia is not tuned for a constructive dialogue," Ned Price said.

Price also mentioned that the issue of termination of hostilities in Ukraine was already raised during the G20 summit in Indonesia. Then President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared his vision of the just end of the war. The report states that the Russian Federation did not have a constructive answer in the form of an alternative formula of peace. Instead, the Russian armed forces began to fire with a greater intensity of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
