At about 10:00 pm, the Air Force of Ukraine in their Telegram channels announced the threat of UAV shock for Chernihiv. A few minutes later, explosions were raised in the city. The head of the Chernihiv MVA Dmitry Bryzhinsky reported that the attack was hit in the city: the blow fell on the residential sector, in particular the destruction was destroyed by a five -storey building. Soon Bryzhinsky added that the Shakhi was hit by two areas of Chernihiv.

According to the regional military administration, several floors in the high -rise building were destroyed as a result of the attack. "The enemy was struck by a five -storey building, 2 upper floors were destroyed," the message reads.

At about 23:30, Bryzhinsky noted that as a result of the attack in the high -rise building under the rubble, two apartments were found, access to them was restricted. Soon rescuers reached these homes. Fortunately, no victims were found. From one of the apartments, operational services evacuated an elderly woman. At about 23:40, the SES reported that the fire was localized. On the spot, the activity of the point of indomitability has been launched, the rescue operation is ongoing.
