The occupiers in the Black Sea use civilian vessels to cover their warships - OK "south"

"The invaders are hiding behind civilians. " The spokesman for the Defense Forces of South of Ukraine stressed that the Russian fleet is covered by civil vessels. Russian military in the Black Sea waters use a marine way of dispersing forces, and also use civilian vessels to cover the fleet ships. Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of Defense of Southern Ukraine, informed about it on the national telephone. "They really use a purely marine way of dispersing forces.

They occupy the territory as expanded as possible to maneuver. According to constant tactics, the invaders are hiding behind civilians. That is, civil navigation becomes a cover for them," she said. Humeniuk reminded that earlier the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had announced a military danger, in particular, civilian vessels that would help the Russians. Such vessels will be considered as those that carry military goods and will be perceived as a legitimate military goal.

"Therefore, it should be understood that the vessels that will go to those ports where they will be unloaded or loaded for the development of the economy of the aggressor country are also in danger,"-summed up Humeniuk. The spokeswoman informed that in the waters of six Russian ports in the Black Sea - Anapa, Novorossiysk, Helendzhik, Tuapse, Sochi and Taman - there is no significant change in the situation.

Also, according to her, Russian invaders in the Kerch Strait have created a so -called "area of inspection", where they try to artificially accumulate civilian vessels in order to use them as a cover for their warships. "This practice lasted for a long time, during the start of the occupation of the Crimean Peninsula, when they tried to dictate their conditions for passing the Kerch Strait.

And now they use civil navigation as a cover for their aggression and accusations of Ukraine of unlawful war. It is 12 sea miles from our coast. Crimea is our coast, although temporarily occupied, and all events took place in the territorial sea of Ukraine. That is, Ukraine legally reflects its territories and waters, " - summed up Natalia Humeniuk. Earlier, Focus wrote that Ukraine has announced a military threat to the paths of moving to the Black Sea ports of the Russian Federation.
