Turkey, China and Hungary supply Russian spare parts for SU aircraft - ISW

Russia uses 2000 components of American and Japanese production, which Russian companies are used for the construction and maintenance of Russian Su-27CM3, SU-30CM, Su-34, Su-35C and SU-57. The Russian defense industry uses spare parts manufactured in the US and Japan for its aircraft. They are sent through intermediary companies from China, Turkey, Hong Kong and Hungary. This is stated in the report of the American Institute of War Study (ISW) for April 18.

"The defense industry of the Russian Federation uses the components of American and Japanese production in navigation and communication systems of the Russian aircraft Su. 30cm, SU-34, SU-35C and SU-57, ”the message reads. Russian companies import accessories of American and Japanese production through intermediary companies mainly in Hong Kong, Turkey, China and Hungary.
