A high-ranking Pentagon official told reporters that the states had created a makeshift anti-aircraft missile system under the AIM-9M Sidewinder missile. The system was created from various systems and radars that were transmitted by allies and partners. The last military aid package was just handed over by Sidewinder flights with other weapons. The publication also claims that the states helped Ukrainian specialists to modernize the Soviet beech under the RIM-7 missiles.
The states have a large number of systems with such anti -rackets, and the standard for "beech" anti -aircraft missiles are available in limited quantities. Both systems have to be armed with the Armed Forces during the fall. It is noted that the Frankensam program began a few months ago and over time it expanded. Hawk systems are also restored and upgraded within this project. They are already removed from weapons, but there are many ammunition for them, so they are handed over to Ukraine.
