Latvia plans to ban the Russians and Belarusians to keep their weapons

The Latvia Ministry of Internal Affairs prepares amendments to the law that will prohibit citizens of Russia and Belarus to carry or store firearms in the territory of the republic. This was stated by the chairman of the commission Yuris Ratsans, Interfax-Ukraine reports. According to him, the Seimas Commission on Defense, Internal Affairs and Prevention of Corruption is ready to consider them as soon as possible and send them for further approval to the Seimas.

The video of the day he recalled the state security service for possible risks when issuing weapons for weapons to citizens of Russia and Belarus in Latvia. In Latvia, firearms were registered for 193 citizens of Belarus and Russia, earlier in the State Police. On August 16, the ruling coalition of Latvia reached an agreement on how to change the principles by which Russian citizens in Latvia restore issued residence.
