Presented an unmanned BMP with AI ALPAR: shoots a machine gun and quit rockets (video)

Another robotic BMP can carry out exploration and deliver soldiers and ammunition to the battlefield. The Turkish Otokar armored vehicles have introduced their new battle-free ground BMP called Alpar, Defense-Blog reports. This tracked drone will be useful to the military for all kinds of combat missions: from the destruction of the enemy to the delivery of ammunition.

Alpar is a new unmanned platform that can perform tasks together with other manned and unmanned vehicles on the battlefield thanks to the built -in artificial intelligence systems. The maximum loaded mass of the autonomous BMP is 15 tons. The combat equipment and fire is responsible for the multi -purpose turning system. It includes not only medium -caliber machine gun, but also installation with anti -tank missiles.

Shooting the enemy and destroying his tanks, the crew of a fighting machine can be remotely in a safe place. Military engineers who have developed ALPAR armored vehicles say that their BMP is distinguished by a low thermal signature, which will help the robotic platform to remain unnoticed for the enemy's HPs as long as possible. Alpar can be landed directly on the battlefield using a military helicopter or a small transport aircraft.

And for the convenience of combat crew, BMP provides a very convenient modular replacement system for the battery of the armored vehicle. General manager of Gergyuch Otokar noted that the Autonomous ALPAR armor can perform not only combat but also intelligence missions. Similarly, this BMP is able to help evacuate the wounded from the battlefield or deliver ammunition, medical equipment and provisions.
