The EU is going to impose sanctions on diamonds from the Russian Federation. This should happen in the fall of 2023. The publication writes that the G7 countries still need to understand the technical details of the diamond prohibition, and then in the fall the European Union will be able to develop the rules of sanctions. The plan is to prohibit the purchase of diamonds directly from the Russian giant of PJSC "Alros" or from the Perers in India or the United Arab Emirates.
