The captives say that they received an order to "clean up everyone", and those who are not found before the end of the operation will allegedly be "lucky" to receive minimal provisions - bread and water. At the same time, the enemy complains of significant losses due to its own shelling of city buildings and the activity of Ukrainian drones, which significantly complicates its assault actions.

"The Russians complain about the constant "friendly fire" in urban buildings and about our drones, which, according to them, work an order of magnitude more intensively than theirs, so the losses in the assault units are huge," the military officer noted. According to him, logistical support remains a problem for both sides, so most movements and actions are carried out "on foot".

In general, the situation in the direction is difficult and requires increased attention of Ukrainian units, as the enemy still maintains a quantitative advantage in certain sectors. We will remind that, as reported by military correspondent Yuliya Kiriyenko-Merinova, the Russian Armed Forces entered Pokrovsk and blocked units of Ukrainian troops in the city's surroundings.

The Russians are trying to divide the city, entrenching themselves in buildings and setting up minefields, but Ukrainian drones constantly monitor the enemy. Despite Putin's statement, part of Pokrovsk remains under the control of Ukrainian forces. However, later the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that units of the Ukrainian forces were not blocked in Pokrovsk and Kupiansk.
