Range up to 2000 km: China has created an extremely long -range anti -aircraft missile - the media

It is claimed that the new rocket is equipped with a two -stage engine with a combined RBCC cycle. And to ensure the efficiency of its work, a whole satellite group must be deployed. Chinese engineers claim that they managed to develop the anti-aircraft missile "Earth-Air" with extreme range-more than 2000 km. The team, under the guidance of a junior researcher at the Northwestern Polytechnic University of the SU, said that weapons will be able to knock down the planes and early warning bombers.

This was reported on March 28 at South China Morning Post. Viewers write that China's armies needed a weapon of a similar class with a length of not more than 10 meters and weighing no more than 4 tons, for placement on mobile starting plants. However, the team allegedly managed to exceed all expectations and create a rocket 8 meters long and 2. 5 tons weighing, and most importantly - with extreme flight range. Technical details of weapons are not yet disclosed.

It is only known that the prototype is equipped with a solid fuel rocket engine for the first stages of flight and a jet engine for traffic in the upper atmosphere. It is also reported that the design of the new rocket is reminiscent of Feitian-1 hypersonic apparatus, which has a similar two-stage power plant with a combined RBCC-Rocket-Based Combined Cycle cycle and was successfully tested by the university two years ago.

As for the principle of action, the publication is about satellite navigation. According to scientists, real -time reconnaissance satellites will direct a new rocket before it switches to its own sensors at the final stage of the flight and blow up its warhead when it achieves an effective range of damage. It was not without mentioning the technology of artificial intelligence, which will help to determine the rise of DRLV aircraft and bombers.

The technology is integrated into the A2/AD satellite system, which China develops to cope with potential military conflicts in hot spots such as the Taiwanese Strait and the South Chinese Sea. Defense Express observers, for their part, noted that Chinese engineers had a complicated task, because the most famous long-range SM-6 rocket is 370 km.

It is also noted that a rocket with such stated range should be equipped with a supersonic engine, but even at a speed of 5 snacks, it will overcome 2000 km in 22 minutes. "That is why the main purpose of such rockets should be the fighters, but strategic bombers, air tankers and AEW & C aircraft as large small -scale and slow goals," experts emphasized.

But more questions from specialists are not to the stated range and not even to hypersonic capabilities, but to the principle of aiming a rocket on the target. The fact is that the creation of the satellite network mentioned above is a more difficult task than creating a long -range interceptor. The difficulty is that such a system will have to have a stable coating at any period of time, otherwise the effectiveness of such a decision cannot be discussed.
