"We have made significant progress": Trump announced progress in ending the war in Ukraine (video)

Share: There is significant progress on ending the Russian-Ukrainian war, including due to sanctions on Russian energy carriers. At a certain point, Ukraine and Russia will understand each other and peace will come, US President Donald Trump said during a meeting with representatives of Central Asian countries at the White House. "We want to end another (war, ed. ) if possible: between Russia and Ukraine. So far we have not succeeded, but I think we have made significant progress," Trump said.

He also emphasized that the export of Russian oil has "significantly decreased" and suggested that this will affect the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. "We just want this war to end. So many people are dying. . . We believe that at some point they will wise up and stop it," Trump emphasized. It will be recalled that on November 6, Trump's special envoy Witkoff said that the United States would deal with ending the war in Ukraine, but only after the war in Gaza.
