Who has nothing human - it is in all representatives of Soviet power. The main evil is the NKVDist performed by Andriy Isaenko ("I work at the cemetery"). Despite the fact that the actor is the man of the director, Olesya Morgun-Isaenko did not spare his hero: the character of Andrew-a finished, wicked monster. Why was he needed at the beginning? The press flashed complaints about the game of children, but we did not notice any great sins on their part. Instead, the "adult" characters have enough templates. And in this sense, "Shchedryk" loses the tape "devoted" both on the literary basis and the director's embodiment. But the relevance, on the contrary, the movie seems very timely.
