Peace talks and nuclear threats: Putin is trying to interest the event - isw

According to analysts, the statements of the Russian President are clearly aimed at ensuring that Europe and the US pay attention to it. The Kremlin is supposedly ready to negotiate with both Washington and Kiev, but it is all imitation. Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to attract the attention of the event, so he used nuclear rhetoric during a message to the Federal Assembly. This is stated at the American Institute of War Study (ISW) of February 29.

On the eve of the next speech of the Kremlin, where in addition to their plans for the next 6 years, the term, which may start after the presidential election, the head of state again spoke about the unstable situation in the world. Volodymyr Putin used the rhetoric on negotiations and thus confirmed the imaginary readiness to negotiate with the United States of America on "strategic stability". At the same time, Washington is allegedly guilty that diplomacy has stopped working.

All this was said to be considered analysts to attract the attention of the event. The Kremlin head also noted that if the US really wants to start discussing important issues, then they first need to take into account the national interests of Russia. A separate topic that Vladimir Putin touched in his speech is a war in Ukraine. He continues to pursue his maximalist goals and continues to believe that Kiev is supposed to agree to surrender.

At the same time, NATO's disarmament should take place in his world and all of this "within an integral part of national interests. " ISW is convinced that talking about Russia's negotiations with Ukraine will increase in the near future, but it is only an imitation of interest in peace. In this case, the event may try to persuade Kiev to make territorial concessions. The message to the Federal Assembly was not without regular threats with nuclear weapons.

Vladimir Putin clearly distinguished that Moscow has weapons, which is allegedly capable of strike in Western countries. And the escalation that occurs between states only increases the risks of nuclear collision that can destroy civilization as a whole. Such threats have two goals - to inspire fear in other states and to weaken their support for Ukraine.

At the same time, analysts are convinced that the threat of such a conflict in Ukraine is unlikely, because even after the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, Moscow's new models of weapons have in no way responded except several threats with threats. Accordingly, there is a threat, but it is minimal. We will remind, on February 29 it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin justified the invasion of Ukraine.

According to him, the armed conflict in the territory of Ukraine allegedly provoked the event, and the Russians do not plan to stop during the fighting. Putin also argues that the inhabitants of the occupied territories "with love" treated the intervention of the Russian Federation. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is convinced that the world needs to be more careful about Vladimir Putin's similar statements and prepare for the worst scenarios.
