"We consider the worst scenarios": how will Moldova act in the event of Russian aggression

According to President Mia Sandu, Moldova will seek help to Romania, if relations with the Russian Federation will deteriorate, and the war in Ukraine will continue. Moldova President Maya Sandu said they would seek help in Romania in the event of Russia's aggression. About it reports Deschide. Sandu arrived on a visit to Bucharest, where she met with President Klaus Johannis. After the rally, they made a statement.

Moldova President has stated that in case of deterioration of relations with Russia and the continuation of the war in Ukraine, they will ask for assistance in Romania. "We are concerned. We accept the most permanent scenarios. Accordingly, we are preparing for all scenarios. And in a situation where Russia tries to attack the Republic of Moldova, we will obviously seek help," the president said.

The President of Romania, for his part, said they would not leave Moldova - they are closest to the country. "We remain closest to the Republic of Moldova and do not leave you regardless of the scenario in which we will all be as a result of this ill -fated war that Russia wages against Ukraine," Johannis said. We will remind, on July 22 in Moldova demanded the withdrawal of troops from Transnistria. In the Russian Federation, this threatened the renewal of fighting between Tiraspol and Chisinau.
