The first "drone management center" on Kamchatka was launched in the Russian Federation: what is known about it

To spread: on Kamchatka the naval fleet of Russia launched the first "Center for Management of drones", designed to coordinate the reconnaissance and shoe drones "Forpost" and "Orion". The main task of the new center is to collect and analyze information coming from unmanned apparatus, to monitor the territories, to strengthen the safety of the northern sea path and to protect the strategic base of atomic submarines.

This was reported by Izvestia with reference to sources in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. "All information coming from unmanned devices will flow into the new management center. It will increase the efficiency of drones. UAVs will allow to establish round -the -clock patrols of large territories and water areas," said Russian military expert Dmitry Boltenkov. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the safety of atomic submarine exit to the ocean.

Commenting on the information, Defense Express analysts noted that this step coincided with the departure of the United States of two strategic nuclear submarines of the OHIO class near Russian waters, which was a response to the threats of the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The creation of a center on Kamchatka fits into a wider Navy program, which involves the formation of regiments of unmanned systems in all fleets.

Russian propagandists were reported in May. These units will include UAVs, ground drones, non -ex -boats and submarine deserted devices, performing reconnaissance, shock and security tasks. The maritime component of the regiments of unmanned systems, by design, should become an important element in the structure of Russian troops of unmanned systems. We will remind, US President Donald Trump said on August 4 that he had sent nuclear submarines closer to the Russian Federation.
