There is no war in Ukraine: People's Deputy explained why the event is only beneficial to martial law (video)

Martial law allows Western partners to help Ukraine in some ways in full, said People's Deputy Sergey Demchenko. The People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction Sergey Demchenko stated that not war but martial law was legally declared in Ukraine. He reported this in the comment "News. Live". "There is no war in Ukraine, there is a martial law in the country today," Sergey Demchenko said. In particular, it depends on partners funding.

According to him, only the announcement of martial law allows Western partners to help us in certain areas in full. Demchenko noted that partners are limited by the norms that exist in their countries, international norms, NATO. Whether the war is declared in the country or the martial law depends on many issues, including working with the IMF. There are completely different conditions for states that are in a state of war and which are not possible, namely a possible restriction on cooperation.

We will remind, on March 1, Prime Minister Denis Shmigal stated that in 2024 the European Union will provide Ukraine with a financial assistance of 16 billion euros. According to him, it is the support of investments, the Ukrainian economy and the movement to EU membership. On February 21, the Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat said that the main allies of Ukraine in terms of supply are the United States of America. The country also receives military equipment and weapons from Germany, France, and UK.
