Participated in the creation of weapons of mass destruction: the United States imposed new sanctions against the Russian Federation

Restrictions are against two persons who directly support or helped profit for DPRK organizations related to nuclear weapons development. Sanctions also came from one of the persons involved in the sanction list. Together with South Korea and Japan, the United States applied for three persons - two physical and one legal, which are related to profit for the illegal development of arms of mass destruction and ballistic missiles in the DPRK. This is stated in the statement of the US Finance.

The source states that the sanctions were imposed on two persons who directly support or assisted the DPRK organizations related to the development of weapons of mass destruction, as well as a company that belongs to one of these persons and which also participated in receiving profit for these organizations. According to the US Ministry of Finance, sanctions were imposed against the John, Sergei Kozlov and Intellect LLC.

It is reported that these measures were taken in response to the DPRK's attempt to launch a reconnaissance satellite in orbit on August 23, which was the second unsuccessful attempt for three months. It is noted that Jon Jon worked with Sergei Kozlov to coordinate the use of DPRK builders in Russia and was the director of one of Kozlov's companies. At the same time, Kozlov was assisted by Chong Chin Eu in the purchase of items commonly used in the shipbuilding industry.

It is noted that the John was involved in the coordination of the Moscow project related to construction, which included cooperation between LLC Intellect and the Second Academy of Natural Sciences (SANS). For participation in such activities or transactions that significantly contributed to the spread of weapons of mass destruction or its delivery, sanctions were imposed in 2010.
