According to the investigation, the mother -in -law of police purchased a land plot and received the ownership of a house built in 2022. Earlier he was exposed while trying to extort $ 200,000. After a thorough analysis of the lifestyle of the highest police officer in the Dnieper, law enforcement agencies revealed signs of illegal enrichment. For two years, this official has purchased assets in excess of UAH 14 million.

This was reported on April 23 by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR). From 2021 to 2022, the police officer held the position of deputy chief of one of the police departments of the SUNP in Dnipropetrovsk region. During this time, he illegally enriched and purchased assets for an amount that much exceeding his legal income.

It is about buying the following assets: according to the information obtained during the investigative measures within the framework of criminal proceedings, the relatives of the suspect also participated in the scheme. For example, the mother -in -law of the police officer purchased a land plot and received the ownership of the house, built in 2022. It was also revealed that the Porsche Macan was actually used by the official's wife, although formally the owner was his father -in -law.

Savings and official income of the suspect and his family do not correspond to the value of the assets purchased. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. According to the newspaper "Ukrainian Pravda", which refers to sources in law enforcement agencies, Andrey Dovgun is suspected. The DBR applied for suspicion of illegal enrichment and providing false information in police declarations from the Dnieper.
