Two assault groups were tasked with going to the center of Pokrovsk, clearing the city hall building and returning the Ukrainian flag to it. The fighters left at night, their movements were monitored by their comrades and coordinated actions. At some point, the group's car was attacked by a Russian Zhdun drone. Despite the explosion, the soldiers remained alive, although one of them was wounded.
He refused to evacuate, the group continued the mission and entered the city. The warriors chose the path with the maximum number of trees to be able to hide from the drones and not be seen. One of the groups was still ambushed by the Russian military, but the Ukrainian bomber successfully worked on their location, removing the obstacle on the way. Thanks to the element of surprise, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "cleared" the enemy inside the city council building and raised the flag.
