After that, a kamikaze drone hit it, and then a bomber finished it off. A powerful detonation confirmed the destruction of the object.

Analysts of the resource assume that it could not be "Smerch", but a modernized "Tornado-S" anti-aircraft missile system, which looks very similar to it. If this is confirmed, it will be the first destruction of this installation in the history of the Russian-Ukrainian war. "This conclusion appears due to the fact that many targets in the region, such as Peresadivka of the Mykolaiv region mentioned in the video, were at a distance of more than 70-80 km from the front line.

Only modernized missiles of this system can reach such a distance," they note. However, it is impossible to accurately determine the type of MLRS based on one launcher due to, as already mentioned, the similarity of "Smerch" and "Tornado". Even if the BM-30 "Smerch" MSW is destroyed, it is also a "fat" catch, since it is the third liquidated installation since the beginning of the war.
