Share: The day before, there were up to seven launchers of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMS) in the strike zone of the "Neptune" missiles in the city of Novorossiysk in the Russian Federation. Maxar satellite images from November 11 show the 1537th Red Banner Air Defense Regiment, which was tasked with protecting the area, including Black Sea Fleet piers and an oil terminal. This was pointed out by OSINT analyst MT Anderson on the X social network.

"We see 7 5P85S2 (S-400 system) missile systems deployed," the author stated. According to the analyst, this S-400 battalion only recently returned to the facility after being temporarily downgraded to S-300PM2. According to reports, the Neptunes hit both the oil terminal and the S-400 launcher. "We are now waiting for the 'after' images to see what was hit and how effective this S-400 shield was," added MT Anderson.

On the night of November 14, a rocket attack was carried out on the Russian city of Novorossiysk. The "Kyberboroshno" community reported that the SAM was destroyed there. At the same time, Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for countering disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, informed about the arrival of the oil terminal.

The mayor of Novorossiysk, Andriy Kravchenko, said that the "debris of the UAV damaged the container terminal, tank and berth of "Chernomorsktransneft" and the "Sheskharis" oil depot. In turn, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that Neptune missiles were used to strike military facilities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. We will remind you that on the night of November 15, attack drones attacked an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ryazan.
