According to the Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the Ukrainian Air Force, the Ukrainian air defense failed to intercept Iskander-M, Zircon and two winged X-101 missiles, caliber and X-22. Ukraine's forces have shot down 30 out of 38 missiles of different types, which attacked the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Monday morning, July 8. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

He noted that at about 10 am, Russia struck a combined missile strike in Ukraine using missiles of air, maritime and ground base. In total, according to preliminary data, the Russians released 38 air purposes: Air defense destroyed 30 Russian missiles: "The world has to respond to this crime strictly. And discussion about whether it is possible to strike in military facilities in Russia at all. For every Ukrainian, ”Oleshchuk added.

We will remind, on July 8 the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation caused a massive rocket strike in Ukraine. As of 15:00, more than half a hundred civilian facilities, including residential buildings, business center and two medical institutions, are known to be damaged, the SES reported. 28 people were killed: 11 - in Dnipropetrovsk and 17 - in Kiev. 112 people were injured: 62 - in Dnipropetrovsk, 48 - in the capital and 2 more - in the Kiev region.

One of the Russian rockets hit Okhmatdit Children's Hospital in Kiev. On the site of the tragedy there is a analysis of the rubble. Two dead are now known. Both are adults. In particular, one doctor. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the statements of Ukraine on the strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on civilian objects allegedly "are not true".
