Does not give chances: the British Asraam system destroys the Drones of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine (video)

The British air defense installed on the Supacat chassis has proved to be particularly effective against the purpose of near action. Land launches with Asraam missiles, which the United Kingdom has handed over to Ukrainian defenders, practically do not "miss" and eliminate 90% of their goals. This is stated in the report published on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the country.

The document stated that this terrestrial launcher was an example of a high -tech solution in the development of effective and inexpensive decisions on the forefront to meet urgent needs. The UK's profile ministry noted that the technique has proven its high efficiency - the coefficient of successful damage to some Russian air purposes reaches 90%. "Ukrainian operators have mastered these systems and asked to increase the number of missiles to protect their country," the department said.

In the summer of 2022, the joint team of the UK Ministry of Defense and the MBDA defense contractor for the first time developed air defense systems for firing asraam missiles from Earth. Within four months after the start of the ground launch, the ASRAM was manufactured and tested, and Ukrainian crews were trained in use in the UK, after which the equipment was transferred to the war zone to Ukraine.

The air defense system is installed on the Supacat chassis and has proved to be particularly effective against near action. According to Defense Express, the missile used by the ASRAM installation has a high -deviation system with a large deviation from the sighting line, which helps it to capture the heat signature of the target and affect it at different angles. She replaced the AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles in the royal Air Force of the United Kingdom and Australia.

We will remind, on January 4 we wrote that the United Kingdom will put 200 Asraam missiles for Ukraine. The 6x6 Supacat air defense system consisting of an ASRAM launcher and the Supacat HMT absentee has been adapted for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is equipped with an electro -optical sensor to capture goals.
