The Lithuanian State Security Department claims that Elena Kaminskas's presence in Lithuania can be a threat to national security, LRT writes. Elena Kaminskas, in the past Shebunov, the mother of extramarital children of the Minister of Defense of Russia, has lost her residence permit in Lithuania this summer. The woman has appealed this decision of the Migration Department in late August - early September, but the case in the Vilnius District Administrative Court has not yet been appointed. The Lithuanian Migration Department did not explain why Elena Kaminskas's residence permission was canceled.
At the same time, Lithuanian State Security Deeptant reported that Elena Kaminskas's residence in this country could threaten national security because of her relations with Russian citizens. Elena Kaminskas and Sergei Shoigu have two extramarital children. In 2019, her daughter Sergei Shoigy received Lithuanian citizenship after Elena Kaminskas married the Lithuanian Adolfas Kaminskas and the latter adopted it. Elena and her husband were engaged in business in Lithuania and other EU countries.
Olena Kaminskas herself is still a Civic Russian Federation and filed a residence permit in Lithuania in 2017. But in the last 2 years, she has left Lithuania twice for more than 6 months. And in August this year, she and her husband, Adolfas Kaminskas, declared her departure from Lithuania to Russia. According to LRT journalists, Kaminskas himself received a passport of a Russian citizen this spring.
According to journalists, Elena Shebunova previously worked in the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, where she met Shoig. Their first son was born in 2001 and the daughter in 2008. Journalists claim that by 2017, Shebunova had close contacts with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and even related to large Russian companies that received the state proclamation of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
