Russian terror has to lose in everything: on the battlefield, and in Ukraine there is no ruin left - President Vladimir Zelensky's address

I wish health, dear Ukrainians! Today is on a business trip: first - Nikolaev, then - Odesa. Meeting and negotiations with Denmark delegation-with Ms. Prime Minister Frederixen, representatives of a coalition of parties. In particular, with the Minister of Defense of Denmark and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. They are in the delegation. We spoke in great detail about Ukraine's defensive needs. What can help us liberate our territory is our south, our East.

And what we need in the context of Ukraine's rebuilding. Nikolaev is a city over the reconstruction of which Denmark has taken on patronage. It is the need for projects in the field of energy, infrastructure, in the social sphere, in production. Particularly noticeable for Nikolaev - water purification, restoration of normal water supply, which was destroyed by Russian invaders. There is already a corresponding project with the participation of Denmark, the implementation of which has begun.

But we need to do much more - for recovery and to modernize what is the basis of our people's life. Today in Nikolaev we visited a hospital, in which our soldiers are rescued after injuries. They thanked the doctors, the nurse. They supported our defenders. This hospital is just one example where modernization and recovery are critical. And I want to thank Denmark, personally Ms. Prime Minister and other Danish government representatives for his willingness to help Ukraine.

For his willingness to maintain a complete restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and to complete reconstruction of all that is necessary for life. This is the fundamental meaning of our cooperation with partners. Russian terror has to lose everywhere, in the battlefield and there is no ruins in our country that we can restore everything and thus prove that freedom is stronger. Today in Odessa we have talked in detail about our security and humanitarian initiatives.

In particular, Denmark supported our Black Sea export initiative and joined the Grain from Ukraine program - Grain from Ukraine. The fact that we have significant progress on food security proves that we can make progress on other points of our peace formula. Today we have discussed what specifically the participation of Denmark can be in the implementation of peace formula points.

Of course, I thanked Denmark for the defense support provided, for the significant strengthening of our artillery, for their willingness to join the tank coalition. We discussed today what we can do to strengthen Ukrainian soldiers. We also coordinate our actions to strengthen sanctions against Russia.

I also urged Denmark to join our efforts to protect sports structures and the International Olympic Movement from discrediting through the efforts of individual representatives of sports bureaucracy to allow Russian athletes to international competitions. Of course, special attention was paid to the internal situation in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions - held appropriate meetings with military and regional leadership.

It's not just about safety - though about the safety of our south first and foremost. But also about social status in the regions, about the economic opportunities. And, by the way, I thank all the entrepreneurs, all employers of Nikolaev, Odessa, other of our communities, which despite all keep jobs and pay salaries and taxes. This is your specific and your significant contribution to our country's ability to defend. Our task to stand is a common task.
