The President and the Prime Minister talked about the introduction of new sanctions that could deprive Russia of the opportunity to finance the continuation of the war.
Volodymyr Zelensky and Mark Karney discussed the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the Russian side, which took place last week in Istanbul. During the negotiations, representatives of Ukraine once again stressed that there should be a ceasefire to stop murder and strikes in civil and critical infrastructure. The President noted that Ukraine is still expecting a proposal to meet the leaders' level by the end of August.
