Pokrovske is located on the banks of the Vovchaya River, 127 kilometers southeast of the Dnipro. Pavlograd is 63 kilometers from there. Recently, the Russian occupiers have been dropping aerial bombs on this settlement, causing people to leave en masse for safer areas. According to the public, evacuation teams take out the population even during airstrikes. There are still many residents in the village.
The day before, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation damaged the bridge in Pokrovsky with anti-aircraft guns in order to complicate the already difficult logistics. On October 15, a car of volunteers came under aerial bombardment in Pokrovsk. The projectile fell almost next to the car. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or serious injuries.
